The newly renovated Creek Cabins offer a cosy weekend getaway while the BLSS building plays host to the Ben Lomond Pub every Friday and Saturday night.

Terms & Conditions

RISK WARNING – Recreational activities (including skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing) involve a significant risk of physical harm or personal injury including permanent disability and/ or death to participants. Any such injury may result not only from your actions but also from the action, omission or negligence of others. 

There are inherent risks associated with these activities that common sense and personal awareness can reduce. These risks include rapid changes in weather and surface conditions, the lack of directional and speed control as well as natural and artificial hazards. 

 

AGREEMENT – By booking with Ben Lomond Snow Sports, I hereby agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions. I enter into this agreement personally and also as the authorised agent for each user.

I confirm that all details I have provided are complete and accurate. I understand that the accuracy of these details is crucial for determining the suitability of the equipment and setting it up correctly. 

 

USE AND RETURN OF EQUIPMENT – On behalf of each user, I accept the following conditions:

I am fully responsible for the equipment throughout the duration of the rental period. The equipment must not be taken outside of Ben Lomond without written permission from Ben Lomond Snow Sports.

Prior to receiving the equipment, I had the opportunity to personally inspect it and found it to be in good working condition.

If I fail to return the equipment by the agreed return date after 5pm, I will be charged an additional hiring fee calculated at the daily hire rate. I authorize you to charge my credit card for any such additional fees.

 

DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT – If I fail to return the equipment in the same condition as when I received it, I agree to pay the full retail cost of replacing the damaged equipment. In such a case, I hereby authorize you to charge my credit card for the full retail cost of the damaged equipment. If the funds are insufficient, I will promptly pay the remaining balance.

 

LOSS OF EQUIPMENT – I understand that if I do not return the equipment or any part of it, I must pay the full retail cost to replace the equipment. I hereby authorize you to charge my credit card for the full retail replacement cost of the equipment. If the funds are insufficient, I will immediately pay the remaining balance.

 

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF RISK – I have read and informed each user about the Risk Warning. On behalf of each user and personally, I acknowledge that:

Recreational activities (including skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing) involve a significant risk of physical harm or personal injury including permanent disability and/ or death to participants. Any such injury may result not only from your actions but also from the action, omission or negligence of others. 

You engage in any recreational activity at your own risk and you acknowledge that Ben Lomond Pty Ltd  is not liable for any breach of any express or implied warranty that services it provides will be provided with reasonable care and skill.

There are inherent risks associated with these activities that common sense and personal awareness can reduce. These risks include rapid changes in weather and surface conditions, the lack of directional and speed control as well as natural and artificial hazards. 

I have entered into this agreement and have read, understood and acknowledged the terms of entry including the warning, exclusion of liability, release, indemnity and information provided elsewhere in relation to this activity.  

 

 

REFUND POLICY

 

Bookings at Ben Lomond Snow Sports are non refundable. We operate in a highly remote location and plan our operations around your booking. Ben Lomond Snow Sports are unable to guarantee snow conditions or lift operations (lifts at Ben Lomond are operated by an external provider) so please consider this when booking. 

 

Ben Lomond Snow Sports reserve the right to cancel any services with or without notice as deemed necessary due to adverse weather or snow conditions. Ben Lomond Snow Sports reserve the right to cancel any tour with or without notice as deemed necessary for the well-being and safety of its patrons & staff. Ben Lomond Snow Sports is not responsible for the operation of Ben Lomond Rd. In such circumstances whereby Ben Lomond Snow Sports is required to cancel a service or access to the lower carpark is restricted a refund will be offered as required. 

 

The date and time of your booking can be changed up to 48 hours in advance of your original booking time. All rescheduling requests must be emailed to hello@tasmania.ski and are subject to availability. Requests received less than 48 hours prior to your original booking time will not be eligible for any change or credit.
